Kay Gee Boat Sales was started in 2008 by Gerry Wood.
Gerry, who is an avid fisherman, wanted a high quality boat that was easy to transport and store when not in use. He has personally owned a Zodiac and a Zebec inflatable boat with wooden floors but found them too difficult to assemble and take down on a regular basis.

In 2005 he read an ad in the paper for a new Saturn Inflatable Boat with an air floor. As both the other boats are quite expensive, he thought the price on the Saturn Inflatable Boat was a mis-print. He called the seller and the price was confirmed. He bought the boat sight unseen and was thinking that if there was anything wrong with the boat it was still a good deal!

As someone who was quite knowledgeable about inflatable boats, he inflated the boat upon its arrival and could not find anything wrong with it! The quality and workmanship were comparable if not superior to its more expensive counterparts.

Gerry spent the next two years putting his Saturn Inflatable Boat through the paces of fishing, cruising and family fun. He was so impressed with the boat that in January of 2008 he started Kay Gee Boat Sales, as an exclusive distributor of Saturn Inflatable Boats in Alberta and Saskatchewan, Canada.
